The Belvoir Classic is a new event in the calendar for 2014 and takes place in Grantham, with three undulating routes (55km, 100km, 160km) in the East Midlands countryside.

All participants will benefit from free HighFive gels and energy drinks, a homemade post-ride meal and mobile mechanical support.

Well-stocked feed stations are also available en-route and a gift bag is provided to all participants. All three events cost £28 to pre-enter, and timing is done by electronic chip.

Taking in the likes of Knipton, Harston and Waltham-on-the-Wolds, the 160km route is rated as a grade three sportive. “Anyone who thought the Midlands lacked any tough hills will want to think again,” warn the organisers.
