Why should you have to enter a European sportive to enjoy some cobbled climbs while the pros are tackling the Tour of Flanders?
The Ronde van Vlaanderen sportive is top of many riders’ bucket lists but, closer to home, you can tackle the cobbles of East Lancashire on the same weekend instead.
The 50-mile circuit has been packed with as many cobbled sections as possible and takes in the likes of Clitheroe and Burnley, or the Ronde van Calderdale is taking place across the Pennines on the same day.
